Why the only gun/duty belts I will ever buy are from Special Operations Equipment

I want to start off by saying that this is not an advertisement, I am not funded, sponsored, nor have received any free shit to review from Special Operations Equipment (SOE), because I know how people are on the internet, and just in general.

This is just my opinion of the undeniable quality of a product.

I have tried many duty belts, many inner belts and even more gun belts and very few companies even came close to what I wanted in any of those categories.

But one day me and some buddies were out enjoying a day of Freedom (a.k.a range day) and I was getting pissed off because this PIECE OF SHIT 5.11 gun belt, I believe it was the 1.5" trainer belt but I'm not too sure, was sagging under the weight of the gun and pretty much falling apart.
My buddy Mike saw my frustration and showed me the belt he was wearing. It looked and felt like the most rigid and sturdy belt I had ever seen, it was all around well built. He told be where he had gotten it and informed me that if I did order one I might be in for a little wait, but assured me that it would be well worth it.
By that recommendation I was introduced to SOE.

The SOE logo.
I ordered my first belt from SOE in February of 2012, it was the 1.5" EDC belt. While placing the order you are informed of the wait times that can be 6-8 weeks all throughout the site, it almost deterred me from completing the purchase, but I really wanted a better belt.
With in 2 weeks I had received an email that "A box of american made Badassery" was being shipped to me, and 2 days later it was at my doorstep.

1.5" EDC Belt
When I ripped open the box I was greeted to more than just the belt, there was the usual packing slip and advertisements, but the was also a little stuffed bird plushy thing, which I later found out was their mascot of sorts called a "Combat Cock".

1.5" EDC Belt with promotional white and blue Combat Cock

The Combat Cock was part of a promotion that they had been running. They run these promos every now and then giving you pretty good discounts and free shit ranging from a variety of things; many different Combat Cocks, bags, and other nylon gear.

Now back to the belt. On inspection the belt is a simple yet very rigid 1.5 inch nylon belt with a cobra buckle closure. It was very well made and the stitch work is beyond superb, it looked like it was made to take abuse.
The belt looked great, it looked strong but looks can be deceiving, so my plan was that I was going used the hell out of it. And so I did, I used the hell out of it, from classes, to plinking at the range, to just using it everyday and eventually using it as an inner belt while on duty, it impressed me more and more, it didn't fall apart, it held its stiffness and rigidity and just worked perfectly.

Special Operations Equipment had impressed me with the quality and durability of there product, they had definitely gained a life long customer. I ended up purchasing more things from them, a lot more. I bought more belts from them, which are still running strong.
For work I bought a duty belt with a hook velcro lining to replace my old galls duty belt, a velcro lined low profile inner belt. And I also bought some of there other nylon gear, all of which are fucking amazing and durable.
More recently I ordered another duty belt from them, my original one is still going strong and still looks new the 4 years that I have had it, but the new one looks better because it sports a cobra buckle.

All I can say is that if you want durable quality made in the United States nylon gear ranging from chest rigs, belts and bags look no further than Special Operations Equipment, they are the best at the craft. No matter what other brands of belts I have bought and used, I always end up going right back to SOE belts and the other band belts go right in the trash.
